Congratulations are in order for The Bold and the Beautiful's Jennifer Finnigan (ex-Bridget Forrester), who gave birth to her first child.
The actress took to social media to announce the exciting news, sharing that she and her husband, Jonathan Silverman, chose not to make the birth of little Ella Jack public until a week after her birth at the end of last month.
"On Sept. 29, after a 28 hour labor, our little girl was born into the world," Finnigan shared along with a picture of her new bundle of joy's foot. "Happy One-Week Birthday, Ella Jack. We love you very much."

Finnigan and Silverman have been together for thirteen years and shared over the summer that they are "beyond excited to start this new chapter of our lives."
The actress had her baby shower back in late August, after which Silverman shared a touching photo where he is kissing her baby bump as she sits under a tree. "Wishing you love, laughter and millions more hugs and kisses," he wrote. "I know this is going to be the best year of our lives."
Finnigan's former on-screen dad, John McCook, took to Twitter to offer the new mom a little fatherly love -- and advice.
Big smile for you and Jonathan!! (Next pedicure, you could go a shade darker on Ella's toes...or not...up to you) https://t.co/3DRmxSCD4z
