With Pierson Fodé and Rome Flynn exiting The Bold and the Beautiful, some fans might be worried that there will soon be very little left in the way of eye candy. And by eye candy, of course we mean extremely talented and Emmy-nominated younger male actors. Yeah. That's exactly what we mean.
Fear not, bold and beautiful oglers! The Bold and the Beautiful has hired Jane the Virgin star Francisco San Martin for the role of Mateo, according to a report from TV Insider.
Mateo will be revealed to be the guy tasked with making sure that Eric's sprawling Beverly Hills home remains in tip-top condition. He'll also have another job, courtesy of Sheila Carter: he'll be asked to focus less on flowers beds and more on... well, bedroom beds. Sheila wants him to seduce Quinn.
This will not be San Martin's first soap opera gig. He previously played the role of Dario Hernandez on Days of our Lives. After being released from the NBC soap, he moved on to find acclaim on the CW's Jane the Virgin.
San Martin makes his B&B debut on October 2.
