Fans of former daytime star Eden Riegel (ex-Bianca Montgomery, All My Children; ex-Heather Stevens, The Young and the Restless) will be thrilled to hear that the actress has landed an exciting new primetime gig.
According to her IMDb page, the actress has landed a role on Showtime's popular series The Affair, which stars Dominic West, Ruth Wilson, Maura Tierney, and former General Hospital actor Joshua Jackson (ex-Lucky Spencer).
The series explores the emotional/psychological effects of two affairs, with official description as follows: "Noah is a New York City schoolteacher and budding novelist with a wife of twenty years and four children. Alison is a young waitress and wife from Montauk at the end of Long Island, trying to piece her life back together in the wake of a tragedy. The provocative drama unfolds separately from multiple perspectives, using the distinct memory biases of each character to tell the story."
Riegel will be appearing in episode nine of the series' current season. The description of the episode teases that as controversy swirls around Noah, Helen, and Whitney, they must decide where their allegiances lie.
Riegel made her All My Children debut in July of 2000 and took home a Daytime Emmy in the Outstanding Younger Actress category in 2005. The actress also starred as Heather Stevens on The Young and the Restless from April 2010 to November 2011.
As AMC fans may recall, Eric Nelsen (ex-A.J. Chandler) also appeared on Showtime's The Affair back in 2017.
