The holidays are right around the corner, but soap fans are getting an early Christmas present in the form of All My Children alum Carrie Genzel (ex-Skye Chandler) and Guiding Light alum Laura Bell Bundy's (ex-Marah Lewis) new film, Season's Greetings -- which Genzel tells Soap Central pits her and Bundy against each other in the most entertaining ways possible.
The feel-good UPTV flick follows Darcy Blake (Bundy), a successful greeting card writer. "Writing heartfelt, meaningful copy for cards is very important to Darcy, especially at Christmas, which was important to her as a young girl," states the official synopsis. "She realizes that she is a bit out of step with her fellow millennials, but that is fine with Darcy. Everything is about to change when Andrew Harrington arrives at the company to take over from his grandfather and he has a very different view of the holidays."
Genzel costars as Taylor Armstrong, who quickly becomes Darcy's nemesis. "Had so much fun working with Laura, [but] our characters don't get along," Genzel teases. "In fact, I want her out of the company as I am brought in to streamline a family greeting card company that Laura's character, Darcy, has worked at for many years. It doesn't help that the man I have designs on seems to be falling in love with her -- cue the scheming and double crossing! It's a really fun romcom for the holiday season."
