It was just a month ago that JR Martinez (Brot Monroe) hoisted Dancing With the Stars' coveted mirrorball trophy over his head. But in a few more months, Martinez will have a much more precious prize. He and girlfriend, Diana Gonzalez-Jones, are expecting their first child in the spring.
"We found out just last week it's a girl and we are over the moon," the 28-year-old Martinez told People. "Diana has a little baby bump now and it's the cutest thing ever. With the holidays coming up, this is the biggest and best gift we could get."
In November, Martinez and his professional partner, Karina Smirnoff, were named the winners of the 13th installment of ABC's "celebreality" competition series.
Martinez made his professional acting debut on All My Children in November 2008. The show incorporated portions of Martinez's real life into its fictional storylines.
